About Us

Pawkala Social Welfare Organisation was created from a simple but powerful belief: no animal should lose their life simply because they were unwanted, abandoned, or out of options.

My mission is to save dogs and cats on death row—animals who have done nothing wrong—and to work toward eradicating the word “stray” altogether. Every animal deserves a warm and comfortable bed, a full tummy, safety, and the chance to feel loved.

Pawkala is also about compassion for people. I strongly believe that families who are doing it tough and struggling to keep their pets should be supported without judgement. When we help people through hard times, we reduce unnecessary surrenders and keep animals with the humans they love.

This journey isn’t one I can do alone. I’m always seeking kind‑hearted volunteers and supporters who want to make a difference—whether that’s helping with animals, supporting families in crisis, fostering, transporting, or simply spreading the word.

Together, we can give animals hope, keep families together, and create a future where every animal knows what it means to be safe, valued, and loved.
