Cujo, A Story of a Rescue Dog

Thankfully, PawKala Social Welfare Foundation stepped in just in time and gave me the second chance I desperately needed.

When I arrived in their care, everything was unfamiliar. But instead of fear and uncertainty, I was met with kindness, patience and compassion. Every gentle touch, warm meal and safe place to rest reminded me that not all humans give up on dogs like me.

We’re still getting to know each other, but I’ve already shown that I’m a friendly boy who enjoys human company. After everything I’ve been through, I’m slowly learning that life can be safe again and that there are people who truly care.

At my age, I should have been enjoying peaceful walks, soft beds and the comfort of a loving home. Instead, I found myself fighting for my life. Thanks to PawKala, my story didn’t end there.

Today, I’m safe. My journey is one of resilience, hope and second chances—proof that every dog deserves the opportunity to be loved, no matter their age or past.

My rescue is only possible because of compassionate people who support organisations like PawKala Social Welfare Foundation. Every donation, every share and every act of kindness helps save another life just like mine.
