Brooke’s Story

Brooke was recently found as a stray and has just arrived into our care at Pawkala.

Right now, she’s understandably a little unsure, choosing to keep her distance while she quietly takes in her new surroundings. Everything is unfamiliar, and she’s adjusting at her own pace.

But one thing has already changed — she’s safe.

A Gentle Start

It’s still early days for Brooke. After being on her own, she needs time, patience, and a calm environment to begin feeling secure again.

Although still shy, Brooke has already shown a gentle nature.

We’re giving her the space she needs, while making sure she knows she’s cared for.

Our immediate priority is helping Brooke feel safe, healthy, and supported as she begins settling into care.
