🐾 Pawkala Foster Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions outline the responsibilities and policies for all foster carers under Pawkala’s program. By fostering, you agree to comply with the terms stated below.

Foster Policies & Responsibilities

All foster animals remain the property of Pawkala at all times.
The initial foster period is 14 days, extendable upon mutual agreement.
Foster carers must provide safe shelter, proper nutrition, and care throughout the foster period.
Pawkala reserves the right to reclaim any foster animal at any time if deemed necessary for welfare or policy reasons.
All veterinary care must be conducted through a Pawkala-nominated vet unless otherwise approved in writing.
Foster carers must immediately report any illness, injury, or behavioural concerns to Pawkala.
Animals must not be used for breeding, hunting, or harmful purposes.
Foster carers must allow home checks, provide updates, and cooperate with adoption meet-and-greets as requested.
Foster animals must be kept indoors at night and safely contained during the day.
Only humane care methods are permitted — punishment or neglect will not be tolerated.
If the animal becomes lost or impounded, the foster carer must notify Pawkala immediately.
Foster carers release Pawkala, its volunteers, and affiliates from liability for any injury, damage, or loss during or after fostering.
